Tara Malone is a New York based Co-Executive producer, director and photographer with twenty years of experience in visual media.  She began her career producing the Emmy Award winning program A Baby Story and has gone on to create diverse content for a wide variety of networks and streaming platforms, including Netflix, Hulu, NatGeo, OWN, History, Condé Nast and Investigation Discovery.

As a visual storyteller, she seeks out opportunities to create compelling narratives that spotlight social justice content and amplify the voices of survivors.  While writing and directing for Vanity Fair Confidential, Tara’s pieces tackled issues of sexual assault, the Opiod epidemic, law-enforcement corruption, labor and sex trafficking.  She has continued to excel in the true crime genre, producing investigative series - including Jessica Chambers: An ID Murder Mystery, Predator at Large and The Lake Erie Murders.

In 2020, Tara joined the post production team of Netflix’s hit series Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel by veteran filmmaker Joe Berlinger, Radical Media and Imagine Entertainment.  The 4-part documentary series explored the disappearance of twenty-one year old Elisa Lam and the international “websleuth” community dedicated to solving her case.  Tara assumed the role of Supervising Producer on the series, which debuted in early 2021, reaching tens of millions of households worldwide.

In 2021 and 2022, Tara stepped up as Director and Co-Executive Producer at Talos Films for an upcoming three-part investigative documentary on the "Troubled" Teen Industry, soon to premiere on Discovery+.  Most recently, she joined Part2 Pictures, as

Co-Executive Producer of a new anthology series on social media and influencer culture.  The project is part of HULU and ABC News latest slate of new programming, tentatively titled "The Age of Influence."
